ABOUT ME

urs.jpg
My name is Ursula Krause, and I am a student at Wayne State University majoring in journalism with a minor in public relations.

I have always had a creative imagination, and writing is one of my strongest subjects. In high school, I was a member of the yearbook staff and fell in love with photography and learning peoples’ stories.

At Wayne State, I worked as a student reporter in my news reporting class and found much excitement in interviewing people and learning about their lives. When I learned about photojournalism, I was ecstatic. I hope to learn many new skills that I can take into my professional career when I graduate. After these studious years go by,

I hope to find myself in a journalism career that involves traveling.

Working for National Geographic has always been a dream of mine, and I hope one day to pursue it. When I am not in a classroom, I can be found dancing for the Warriors on Wayne State’s dance team, singing in my church’s band, or working at my current job as a veterinarian assistant.

I am excited to dive into my world of photojournalism!
